This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing revitalization of Baltimore by helping to deliver safe, affordable, and high-quality housing. The Residential Punch-Out & Maintenance Technician will play a key role in completing punch list items, handling ongoing maintenance needs, and ensuring Dominion’s residential properties are fully functional and ready for occupancy. This individual will report to the Director of Property Operations.

Your Impact:

• Ensure Dominion’s residential properties are move-in ready by completing punch-out items and maintenance tasks
• Support renovation and turnover projects by resolving final repair items quickly and efficiently
• Maintain the quality and safety of Dominion’s housing portfolio through reliable electrical, plumbing, and general repair work
• Contribute to efficient project completion timelines by addressing outstanding issues and finishing details


Daily Tasks:

• Complete punch-out lists on recently renovated residential properties
• Perform light electrical work such as installing fixtures, replacing outlets and switches, and troubleshooting minor electrical issues
• Perform plumbing repairs including fixing leaks, installing sinks or faucets, replacing toilets, and resolving drain issues
• Handle general maintenance and repair tasks including drywall patching, caulking, trim work, and hardware installation
• Install or replace appliances, lighting, and basic fixtures as needed
• Inspect properties to identify outstanding repair items or maintenance needs
• Ensure completed work meets company quality standards and local building codes
• Maintain tools, materials, and workspaces in an organized and professional manner
• Communicate repair progress and issues with the property operations team


Requirements:

• Previous experience in residential maintenance, construction, or renovation work
• Hands-on experience performing basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Ability to complete punch-out and finishing work with attention to detail
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple repair tasks across different properties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:
• Trade school education or certifications in electrical, plumbing, or construction trades
• Experience working on residential renovations, turnovers, or property maintenance teams
